Know that we are indeed living in the end times! As Christ said in Matthew 24:36, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels in Heaven, but my Father only". So, while we do not know the day or the hour, we CAN recognize the season. Nearly all the prophecies of the Old Testament have been fulfilled. Be prepared for the coming of the Rapture and the Great Tribulation.
What do we need to do to prepare? First and foremost...recognize that we are sinners and fall short of the glory of God, repent of these sins, and accept the gift of grace and salvation given freely. We must then follow the four "W's"....

the "10/40 window"
- A primary goal of BASIC Ministries is to reach the 10/40 window with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- What is the 10/40 window? The 10/40 Window is a term coined by Christian missionary strategist and Partners International CEO Luis Bush in 1990 to refer to those regions of the eastern hemisphere, plus the European and African part of the western hemisphere, located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, a general area that was purported to have the highest level of socioeconomic challenges and least access to the Christian message and Christian resources on the planet. The concept behind the 10/40 Window highlights these three elements (as of data available in 1990): an area of the world with great poverty and low quality of life, combined with lack of access to Christian resources and unreached non-Christians. The Window forms a band encompassing Saharan and North Africa, as well as almost all of Asia (West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia and much of Southeast Asia). Roughly two-thirds of the world population lived in the 10/40 Window, and it is predominantly Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, animist, Jewish, or atheist. Many governments in the 10/40 Window are officially or unofficially opposed to Christian work of any kind within their borders.
- This WINDOW is a part of the world that remains unreached. It is a rectangular area that extends from the 10th latitude north of the equator to the 40th latitude north, and from Japan to the West Coast of Africa. There are roughly 62 nations within the 10/40 Window.
- More than 4.4 billion of the world’s 7.8 billion people live here.
- There are more than 1.2 billion people under the influence of communism.
- It contains over 1 billion Muslims, nearly 1 billion Hindus and 600 million Buddhists.
- 97% of the un-reached people groups are located here.
- The top 50 least evangelized cities of the world are all in this window.
- Most of the 10/40 Window nations are closed to western missionaries.
- It is an area of great spiritual darkness known as the “Resistance Belt”.
- It contains over 70% of the world’s people but only 8% of the church’s missionary efforts.
- Less than 1/2 of 1% of the mission budget of churches goes to reach the 10/40 Window.
- Many in the 10/40 Window have never heard the Name of Jesus – not even one time!
